No problem Whitney! I was so worried about you and didn't know if you were sick or very busy with school. Congratulations! How is it at the dental office? Are your boss and coworkers nice? I'm okay. I just moved to a new house last year over the summer and we just got our passports renewed. I'm not in school right now; the semester's already over, plus I'm taking a short break until I can sort things out. I got depression shortly after I started college and moved in (it was a very rough time, plus my stepfather nearly killed my sister and he's no longer living with us). It was so bad, I had to withdraw from all my classes and take some meds. I'm off the antidepressants now and I'm doing a little better, but I still need to see a therapist. I’m not in college at the moment; I’m taking a short break until I get myself together.
On the bright side, I've now reconciled with my biological dad and we're speaking again after an entire decade. He's been doing well and he and my mom get along now (they're not together, but they do get along much better than they did when they had me). We started speaking to him over 2 years ago and he now visits us every so often (he lives in New York). He even got us a new dog named Marcy! Marcy actually belonged to my dad’s friend, but his friend passed away due to a stroke, and nobody else would take her (my dad has a cat and dog, but Marcy attacks the cat), so he gave her to us. She’s an 11-year-old Manchester Toy Terrier and she’s in perfect health. She’s very quiet yet loyal and follows me around the house. She normally sleeps in my room. Here's a photo of the lil' cutie
